What Is a ProBuild? The Pinnacle of Deep Snow Performance, Explained

Buying guide · by the team at All-Terrain Motorsports, Grand Junction & Rifle CO · updated 2026-08-20

Built for pros, by pros. That's the ProBuild promise, and it's earned: for 30 years our family-owned shop in Grand Junction has been building the machines western Colorado actually rides, and the ProBuild program is that experience bottled into turn-key customs you can buy off the floor — or order built to your spec.

A ProBuild starts as a brand-new machine and gets finished by our technicians with premium parts from the brands serious riders trust — Skinz, Bikeman Performance, Seco, Durapro, ArcticFX — chosen and dialed for Rocky Mountain deep snow and Western Slope desert. You buy it finished. One machine, one price, one set of keys.

What's actually in a ProBuild sled

This isn't a sticker package. A ProBuild snowmobile leaves our shop with a Skinz Guzzler hood that cuts more than 17 pounds and eliminates powder bog, a Bikeman MoFlow air intake, Bikeman titanium exhaust, and Bikeman Stage 1 clutching for real deep-snow power delivery. Comfort and control get the same treatment: Seco tunnel grips and seat cover, a Skinz heated brake lever, Durapro magnetic tether and ski rubber, Skinz front and rear bumpers, an Oxbow LED headlight, and Polaris's 7S display with GPS navigation. Then it gets wrapped — a custom ArcticFX wrap in one of ten signature colorways, so no two trailheads look the same.

Why turn-key beats building it yourself

Three reasons buyers pick a ProBuild over doing it in the garage. Price: parts and installation are bundled, and our shop builds at volume. Financing: the whole build rolls into one financeable price — try getting a lender to cover a pile of aftermarket parts after the fact. Accountability: our techs installed every part, so our shop stands behind the work, and seasonal programs have included extended warranty coverage on SnowCheck ProBuild orders — ask what's running when you order.

Order yours, or buy one off the floor

Two ways in: grab a finished ProBuild from the live inventory on this page, or spec your own through the ProBuild order form at probuildsleds.com — pick the sled, pick the colorway, and our shop builds it. Spring SnowCheck season is when custom orders lock in the exact build for next winter; fall is when the ready-made inventory peaks and starts moving fast.

ProBuild side-by-sides: desert-ready from day one

The same shop and the same philosophy point at the desert: ProBuild UTVs come set up for how the Western Slope rides — Rabbit Valley, the dunes, Moab — with suspension, wheels and tires, and protection installed, so the machine's ready for the trailer the day you sign.

Our verdict

If you were going to upgrade the machine anyway — and most deep-snow riders here were — a ProBuild is the cheaper, cleaner, financeable way to end up with a better result than the garage version. Browse the live ProBuild inventory under Side-by-Sides and Snowmobiles on this site, spec your own at probuildsleds.com, or text (970) 999-1221 and tell us what you're dreaming about.

Common Questions

Is a ProBuild covered by warranty?

The base machine carries its full factory warranty and the installed work is backed by our shop — and seasonal promotions have included multi-year warranty coverage on SnowCheck ProBuild orders. Ask what's available when you buy; that accountability is the difference between a dealer build and bolting on parts yourself.

Can I finance the whole ProBuild price?

Yes — that's one of the biggest advantages. Skinz, Bikeman, the wrap, all of it is part of the machine's price, so the entire build finances together. Prequalify online in about 60 seconds with a soft credit pull.

Can I order a custom ProBuild to my own spec?

Yes — use the ProBuild order form at probuildsleds.com or text (970) 999-1221. Pick your sled and one of ten signature ArcticFX colorways, and our shop builds it; spring SnowCheck orders lock in exact spec for next season.
